At present, this aircraft has started mass production, and signed an 18 aircraft sales agreement with the buyer. During this year (2015), the Chinese domestic first customer order will be delivered.

It is reported that Ruixiang electric aircraft is China first domestic electric clean energy all composite light sport aircraft, with independent intellectual property rights. It has been developed by Liaoning General Aviation Research Institute under the leadership of China Academy of Engineering academician, Shenyang Aerospace President University president, professor Yang Fengtian.

The creation has also made a number historic record: China first domestic electric light sport aircraft that has formally passed the application type certification; China first electric light sport aircraft model that has been formally accepted for the approval review by the China Aviation Administration of China.
